Genki Sushi at Orchard Central

This sushi restaurant is so high tech and automated now!

First you order your food through their iPad! iPad leh! And there's one for every table!

Second, your food comes to you on these cute 'vehicles' !
Spaceship!

and also on a ....
shinkansen!

Not only that .... $1.80 items are served on this plate!

Not bad right? I wouldn't mind traveling down to Orchard Central ('cos it's quite far from where I stay) again for such awesome ambiance and feeling!

One point to note though.. they don't serve heavy items in variety... a few don and udon bowls, that's all.

Puff Girl at Tampines 1

The logo mascot so cute!

Image taken from here.

Why am I sharing this?

I'm not a fan of cream puffs but this puff.. is actually crispy! They have their sweet special recipe to add a crispy texture on top of the usual soft cream puffs we eat. And the result is surprisingly awesome!

The chocolate one is fantastic~ Sibei song ah (satisfying)!

Not only is it chocolate cream in it... but there's also a hint of peppermint! Reminds me of Merri Mint at the Swensen's. And the vanilla one is not too milky, just nice for me! But I tell you, the best part is still its crispy top. The bit of icing sugar makes this heavenly.

Remember to get these while you are at Tampines 1! I'm not sure if there any other outlets apart from this one...

S-26 Goodies

Do I need to further elaborate? Chiong ah!

They Say It's Not Easy to Raise a Kid...

and they are right.

It doesn't matter if you have a relative or helper to help you because there are things that you just have to do it on your own. Breastfeeding, comforting, lecturing, and etc. Plus, it's not easy being both the good and bad guy.

And my little one has just turned 2. There's a commonly heard term called the 'Terrible Twos' and I can see that why.

One, she still can't express herself in words. Her speech is still limited to a few audible words. Most of the time she would just be throwing tantrum and kicking on the floor when the adults do not understand her.

Two, she can actually start potty training but she just doesn't like the idea of pulling her pants down to wee wee. She feels exasperated, so do I.

Three, if she wants things her way, she just got to have it in her way.

Four, when we talk to her with reasons on hand, she can continue to bawl and refuse to hear us out. Ohhhh... super pek cek (frustrating)!

And these, my friends, are just a few signs of her Terrible Twos stage.

Really, it isn't easy.
