Daiso Air Con Filters

Last time I wrote about air con filters... and I said 3M filters costs so much whereas the ones from Daiso are just at $2 per pack.

Not all cheap stuff are of good quality. LOL.

The results were not as ideal as I thought it would be.

Yes, you can see the dust and black particles on the filters.. but the inner rollers are a disaster. They are not as clean as when  I was using the 3M ones. :( I had to use cotton buds this time round when we were cleaning the air con units. Ugh.

I guess the $28 is sort of justified in exchange for the hard work and time you put in cleaning the rollers.

I tried to find if there were cheaper ones on Qoo10, but they don't have them. I saw a similar product but am not sure if it was authentic. Guess I shall have to buy them from major supermarkets. T_T"

Just Another OOTD

This was what I wore to my husband's colleague's baby first month party.

I even braided my hair that day!

and below is my before and after makeup pics. LOL.

Oh yeah, talking about makeup, I realized I am starting to get some fine wrinkles at the top of my forehead. Maybe I should try getting those dermal fillers as soon as I am done with my research. I may try NeuGlow. May.

We'll see how it goes. :)

Navy Bear 2013

Navy Open House this year sold bears at the event! And the sad thing was.... it was totally Sold Out on the second day of its 4 day event. T_T"

Metro Sale

There was a 20% store-wide discount (on most items) at Metro outlets over the last weekend.

And even though I was on my way to recovery, I did my shopping there! O_O

I was in need of a new wallet but I couldn't find anything from the Sembonia range. I looked through the Carlo Rino collection and my husband pointed out one set to me! Luckily he did so! Else I would have just whizzed by without noticing.



Sweet right? The box is so classy with sweet pink and black ribbon!

Here's my new wallets! Big and small! Awesome! Hubby said I could use the small one when I go grocery shopping. -.-" I don't think I will use it just for supermarket trips.... Haha.

And apart from these, my housekeeper indirectly influenced me to buy a nude pair of wedges. O_O

One for me, one for her. Hers look so small right? Cos she's a size 5! And I'm a gigantic 7 when placed beside hers.

Not bad, not bad. LOL. Anyway, I think these 2 items that I got for myself will only see the daylight next year for CNY.

Do you know that CNY falls on 31 Jan 2014, Friday? Way too fast!!!! Gotta start spring cleaning and all this November!

My Favorite Durian Uncle Ah Teck

I have been buying durians from him ever since .... many years ago. LOL. Okay, let me estimate... should be about 5 years?

The previous time the durians I got from him were not that nice and I rang him up to let him know... and yesterday when I visited him, he gave me these....



I'm like so shocked.

Uncle I want to pay you $10 at least leh! But no... he refused! Even 'shoved' me aside. LOL. No no no, you take it because last time the durians not nice, so Uncle now compensate you.

T_T" You tell me lah, where to find such a nice durian seller?

This is the kind of positive business attitude that I admire. The other durian sellers who do door-to-door business gave me the worst kind of impression ever. And another seller even came to my place last 2 days ago! I quickly rejected him and I saw his hand was already on my door bell!!!! NO!!!

Don't you press my door bell when my child is napping. Hate it when people do not read the signs that I put outside my door. Bah.

老娘已经写很清楚不要按门铃，看不懂啊？！

Luckily I managed to stop him in time. Phew.

Like what my husband says, be wary of door to door sales. Not everyone is a good egg.

Anyway, thank you Uncle Ah Teck, 谢谢你那么疼我！哈哈！
